This is the web site for the Yorkshire Woods neighborhood. Yorkshire Woods is a neighborhood in the northeast part of Detroit. We are bordered I-94 on the east, Kelly Road on the west, Morang on the north and Houston- Whittier on the south. Yorkshire Woods is primarily a residential neighborhood. The core of the neighborhood is composed mostly of brick bungalows and 2 story brick colonial homes. The main streets that form the perimeter of our neighborhood contain a good mix of commercial businesses, apartments, churches and other services. We have parks and playgrounds and schools. We have great access to neighboring areas for shopping and recreation.

Yorkshire Woods is an oasis of beauty in the City of Detroit. Our tree lined streets shelter the brick and stone homes from the sun. The mature landscape sets off the beauty of the predominantly colonial architecture.

The substantial brick homes in our neighborhood have been steadily increasing in value, reflecting the core benefits of the neighborhood.
